A private, single-user personal assistant — not a public service.
Hermes Assistant is a self-hosted software agent that runs on its owner's own server. It is authorized against a single Google Account — the owner's own — so the owner can ask it, in plain language, to handle everyday personal administration without opening six different web apps.
Exactly one person: the account owner. There is no sign-up, no multi-user access, no sharing feature, and no way for another person to authorize this application. It is not distributed, published in any app store, or offered as a service to anyone else.
Data read from Google is used only to answer the owner's own requests. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to build profiles, and not shared with third parties except the AI model provider that generates the assistant's replies. Tokens are stored locally on the owner's server with restrictive file permissions. The privacy policy describes this in full, including how to revoke access and delete stored data.
